Barge No.9 Community Preservation
The Barge No. 9 Community Preservation Project is an extraordinary initiative aimed at restoring and transforming a historic 1928 barge into a vibrant hub for our community in Lowestoft. Barge No.9 Restaurant & Museum
Set to launch in summer 2026, Barge No. 9 will transform into an amazing floating restaurant, museum, Tearoom and event space. This unique venue will not only offer a stunning backdrop for unforgettable occasions but will also generate profits to fund our Community Well-Being and Personal Development Initiative, making a positive impact in Lowestoft.[more]

Raising Funds - We're half way there!
We’re excited to be transforming Barge No. 9 into a vibrant restaurant and event venue, which will fund our Community Well-being Project. We've already passed the half way point! With a total project cost of £340,00 we’ve already raised £180,000, and completed significant milestones along the way.
