VISION & VALUES

Our Vision

Our Heritage, Our Mental Health, Our Community

Our vision is to preserve and restore a century-old barge that holds strong ties to the rich history of Lowestoft. We're already halfway through this journey, and it’s all thanks to the incredible support from the community and local councils.

We aim to transform Barge No. 9 into a vibrant museum floating event space, café, and restaurant. A % of the  profits generated will be donated by Will to completely fund Community Wellbeing at Anchor Point House, offering free well-being courses and personal development programs for our community of Lowestoft. .

To ensure the longevity of Community Wellbeing at Anchor Point House, we’re committed to being self-sustaining, via Barge No 9; we want to provide valuable services without the worry of relying solely on grants.

Barge No. 9 will serve as a wonderful venue for the local community, featuring good food, live music, and great company.

Our Supporters

Our Supporters, along side our volunteers have been vital to our success, providing essential grants, products, services, and premises. Their generous support fuels our mission to restore Barge No. 9, launch Anchor House and enhance community well-being. [More info - Partnering with us]  [Partner Directory]
